High Voltage Machine Learning, Image and Signal Processing
Start: Summer 2022 | Expected Effort: 5-10 Hrs/Wk
Location: GT Campus 90% | NEETRAC (Off-Campus) 10%
Background
Clearance and Creepage is one of our most exciting research that sits in a conventional field of high voltage flashover research. We research insulation designs in various application scenarios, especially under diverse ambient climate conditions. The next move of this project is to make use of all available approaches to gather and analyze electrical, photographic, and audio signals. Right now, the flashover tests are being monitored by the oscilloscope, photographed by an SLRD camera, and acoustically recorded by portable audio recording devices.
Compensation: Hourly Pay
